RPG TRAINING (VOL. ONE)

YOUR JOURNEY CONTINUES

In Volume 0, Luna began your Secret RPG Training and guided you through the foundations of 5e Role Playing Games.

Now the training continues.

Volume 1 begins with Lesson 27, taking you beyond the basic rules and showing you how to become a more confident player, find your own adventuring group and, eventually, step behind the screen and begin thinking like a Game Master.

Whenever Luna appears, look for the RPG Training QR code hidden beside her.

Scan it. Unlock the lesson. Continue your training.

WHAT WILL YOU UNLOCK IN VOLUME 1?

LESSON 27: STAY CALM
Learn what to do when you forget a rule, misunderstand something or make a mistake during play. Discover why nobody needs to memorise the entire game, how to keep the adventure moving and why even experienced players regularly check the rules.

LESSON 28: GATHER ALLIES
An RPG adventure needs heroes. Learn how to find people to play with, invite friends into the hobby, discover gaming communities or build your own group from the beginning. Your first party starts here.

LESSON 29: CAN I BE A DM?
Could you become a Game Master even if you have never run a game before? Absolutely. Discover what becoming the person behind the screen really means and why experience is something you gain by playing, not something you need before you begin.

LESSON 30: DM ROLE
Step behind the screen and discover the role of the Game Master. Learn how the GM presents the world, controls creatures and NPCs, interprets rules, creates challenges, reacts to player decisions and keeps the adventure moving.

LESSON 31: DM MINDSET
Discover how being a Game Master differs from being a player. Learn why you do not need to know every rule, what your most important responsibilities are and how to think like the person guiding the adventure rather than controlling a single hero.

LESSON 32: DM TOOLS
Build your first Game Master toolkit. Discover useful rule references, notes, maps, character information, encounter resources, digital tools and other aids that can make preparing and running your first games dramatically easier.

LESSON 33: DM FEARS
Every new Game Master worries about something. Forgetting rules. Running out of ideas. Losing control of the story. Making mistakes. Players doing something completely unexpected. This lesson teaches you how to overcome those fears and start running games with confidence.

LESSON 34: PLOT HOOKS
Every adventure needs a reason to begin. Learn how to create simple but powerful adventure hooks that give your players an objective, a mystery, a danger or an opportunity worth pursuing.

LESSON 35: SCENE DESIGN
Learn how to transform an idea into a playable scene. Discover how to describe locations, establish atmosphere, reveal useful details, introduce threats and give players meaningful things to investigate, interact with and change.

LESSON 36: NPC CRAFTING
Populate your worlds with memorable characters. Learn how to create NPCs with clear motivations, personalities, useful information, relationships and distinctive traits without spending hours preparing every person your heroes might meet.

LESSON 37: VILLAIN DESIGN
A great villain is more than an enemy with a large pool of Hit Points. Learn how goals, motivations, methods, weaknesses and consequences can transform an antagonist into someone your players will remember long after the adventure ends.

LESSON 38: CLASH FLOW
Learn how to build encounters that are more than simply attacking until one side falls. Explore objectives, enemies, environments, danger, difficulty, alternative solutions and the elements that make a confrontation exciting and meaningful.

LESSON 39: SESSION START
The first minutes of a session matter. Learn how to bring everyone back into the story, establish the tone, present an immediate situation and give the players something interesting to decide from the very beginning.

LESSON 40: COMBAT FLOW
Learn how to manage Initiative, turns, enemies, actions and changing battlefield conditions without allowing combat to become slow or confusing. Keep everyone involved while making every round feel clear, dynamic and exciting.

LESSON 41: IMPROVISATION
Players will always surprise you.

Learn how to react when they ignore your plans, invent unexpected solutions, travel somewhere you never prepared or ask questions you never imagined. Discover how to improvise confidently, make quick decisions and turn unexpected choices into new opportunities for adventure.

FROM PLAYER TO GAME MASTER

By the end of this training path, you will have travelled much further than simply learning the rules.

You will know how to recover from mistakes, gather a group, understand the role of a Game Master, build scenes, create NPCs and villains, design encounters, begin sessions, manage combat and improvise when the adventure refuses to follow the plan.

And that is when something extraordinary happens.

You stop simply learning how to play the game.

You begin learning how to create it.
